We have worked with Mark Cook and Jeffrey Armistead since 2010, from the initial design stages of our studio, shop and detached garage through the building completion. Mark and Jeffrey discussed every aspect of the project and often made suggestions to improve the exterior or interior design. Each morning, they would arrive early, brief us on the day's planned activity, and follow through on the plan. We were very impressed with their diligence, creativity, thoroughness and expertise in all areas. Mark and Jeffrey also attended to other small project requirements at our home: they installed new deck doors and kitchen windows, resolved plumbing problems and replaced some older flooring with ceramic tile.

When Abingdon needed to replace our church sign, it needed to be historically accurate as well as welcoming to newcomers and visitors. Mark Cook and Ace Construction were exactly what we needed for our project. Our new sign is in character with our historic church and is made with materials that will hold up for years.
